Pin positions

Signal pins have landing shapes at the macro edge, and power pins span the block. Their locations are taken from the LEF abstract. Use the explorer below to find any pin on the real sram22_64x32m4w8 layout.

• Click a pin group (e.g. addr, din) to highlight all of its bits and zoom to fit them.

What you're looking at

Signal pins (clk, rstb, ce, we, wmask, addr, din, dout) are small met1 rectangles along the bottom edge of the macro — those are the discrete landing pads a router connects to, and their coordinates and shapes come straight from the macro's .lef. vdd and vss are not point pins but a met2 power grid of hundreds of straps spanning the whole block, so they are kept off the pin list and shown only via the Show power grid toggle.

This macro measures 360.32 × 191.00 µm. Remember that it is placed rotated 90°, so in a real floorplan the pin edge runs vertically, and you connect your power distribution network to the vdd/vss met2 straps.
